I am thrilled just to be able to attend another WordCamp, let alone be asked to speak there as well. This will be my first speaking gig outside of Birmingham, and my first “business trip” as well, although I have traveled the US my whole life in family adventures. I am proud to be representing Birmingham along with Wade Kwon and Sara Cannon.
The topic I will be covering is listed as an Intermediate session, and is geared towards developers and designers that want to start using WordPress to build sites for their clients. Here is the synopsis as listed on the WordCamp Atlanta website:
WordPress and Working with Clients
WordPress is a powerful tool for launching the most basic blog, to the most complex and intricate page-based site. Learn how to sell WordPress to your clients, walk them through the design and functionality, and the holy grail of web development: how to get them to deliver their content. We’ll also go over some tips on helping them learn to use their new site.
Presented by: Tammy Hart
Difficulty level: Intermediate
The event will be held at SCAD, named one of the nation’s “Most Interesting Schools”. This new venue allowed them to open up more tickets to the previously sold out event. This being the case, I urge you to register as soon as you can, to make sure your seat isn’t taken. The speaker lineup is quite impressive, and the topics to be covered are sure to more than satisfy your WordPress appetite.
Sponsor Me
I am open to sponsorship if you would like my help to represent your brand at the ground level of this event. I don’t mind wearing or passing our your swag, blogging about your brand here, and tweeting about it before and during the conference. The expenses I need covered are minimal, only in the very low hundreds. Contact me, and we’ll make a deal!
