I’ve been playing with new designs for my website since about May of this year, and I have finally found “the one.” When I found a good inspiration, I started putting the design down and it all fell together perfectly. My husband looked at the comp I showed him in Photoshop and said, “It’s… it’s.. it’s perfect!”
Over the next few weeks I’ll be getting all the content written and laid out and I’ll get the portfolio updated. Using WordPress will make updating easy, and will give my readers a better way to stay in touch with new content. It also allows me to spread the word through social communities like Technorati.
I’ve never been one to read any blogs on a regular basis, but I have found that when I’m researching a certain topic online, some of the best information I have found has come from someone’s blog. So I’m going to start writing my own content which will include things I’ve learned about design, coding, and business, as well as just updates on my availability and my business. I hope that I can start at least a small group of subscribers so that I can make more of a name for myself amongst the billions of web designers that are already involved in social communities.
So if you’re even the least bit interested, then grab a seat, I’ll pass the popcorn, and we’ll see where this adventure takes us.
